Preparing for 2017: The 500th Anniversary of the Reformation

Many Lutherans are committed to fostering an ongoing reformation of the ELCA to encompass Creation Justice into the life, identity, and mission of the ELCA.

There is now a small, informal group of theologians, teachers, pastors, and lay people working to promote this goal. This group is in process of working with many Lutheran leaders and organizations to make plans to use the 2017 anniversary celebration and the events leading up to it to make headway in this effort.

This is a grass roots group not sponsored by LRC. However, LRC is eager to support and cooperate with the group efforts.
