LRC Training Workshop for leaders in PA Synods

Lutherans Restoring Creation to hold Training Workshop for Leaders in Pennsylvania Synods.

WHEN: January 25-26, 2013

WHERE: Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg (PA)

WHY: As people of faith, we have a special call to care for the Earth by reducing our negative impact upon God’s creation and to seek ways we can act faithfully in caring for creation. As Lutherans, we have unique resources to empower collaborative restoration.

WHO: Clergy and lay representatives are invited to apply to be part of this unique PA LRC cohort of synod-wide facilitators. LRC will fund up to five people from each synod with mileage, meals, lodging, and training materials.

WHAT: Training prepares participants to introduce congregations in their synod to care for creation and to hold an eco-faith event funded with a $500.00 grant from LRC.

Led by: Phoebe Morad, Alycia Ashburn, Amy Reumann, and Leah Schade.
