Mary Minette


Since 2006 Mary Minette has been Director of Environmental Education and Advocacy in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America Washington Office, where she advocates on creation care issues before Congress and federal agencies.  

Prior to joining the ELCA, Ms. Minette worked for a number of secular environmental organizations, serving as vice president of the Earth Day Network, legislative director for the League of Conservation Voters, and staff attorney with the National Audubon Society.  

She is a graduate of Stanford University and the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law.  Mary and her husband and son live in Falls Church, Virginia and attend Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
