Seminary Environmental Certification Webinar

Seminaries, schools of theology, divinity schools – these are the institutions that train clergy and religious leaders. These schools make an enormous difference in the future spiritual and moral well-being of society. Yet, many of these schools are missing an important opportunity—to promote environmental learning and action by their students.

We are proud to offer a new program to address this need—the Seminary Environmental Certification Program.

Register for the webinar on the Seminary Environmental Certification Program to learn more about this new and exciting initiative.

The Green Seminary Initiative (GSI), a program of GreenFaith and Drew Theological School, spoke with representatives of more than 50 seminaries from across the US. We asked them how we could help them integrate care for God’s creation more deeply into their life and mission.

Their response:  an environmental certification program for seminaries.

Join us on Monday, April 4 from 4:00-5:00 p.m. ET to learn about this new program. During the coming year, GSI will work with 5-7 seminaries which will be the first to undertake this program.  On the webinar, you’ll hear from the people who designed the program about the its requirements, processes, and the ways in which GSI will support participating seminaries.

Seminaries make a vital difference in the life of our faith communities. We’re looking forward to working to make them as green as possible.
