Carbon Footprint Assessment

Whether you are dealing with a church building, home, office, or a seminary or college, you can become more aware of the impact you are having on global climate change and what you can do to reduce your impact and contribute positively for change.

This section is under development, as a LC3 working group determines the best assessment tools to recommend. We hope to soon place here several tools for assessing your congregation building, home, and other institutions of the church.
If you would like to report on your efforts to reduce global warming, please contact Rob Saler at rsaler@lstc.edu or join discussions on the climate change blog.

Meanwhile, San Francisco Theological Seminary in San Anselmo, California and Gettysburg College in Gettysburg Pennsylvania are two institutions that have completed carbon footprint assessments. Please contact them with more information for your institution.
