We invite you become a financial supporter of Lutherans Restoring Creation! Through your gifts, many households, congregations, neighborhoods, and communities across the country are actively caring for God’s creation. When we talk about “restoring creation” we are thinking beyond boundaries and one-time projects, and working to change the very world we live in.
That is why your generous support and partnership is so important . . . and deeply appreciated. We will treat your contribution with care by putting it to work in the most effective way to fulfill our purposes. If you designate your gift (see below), we will be sure to see that it goes toward its intended purpose.
The many resources you find on this website are prime examples of our efforts. Whether home, work, church, or institution, Lutherans Restoring Creation (LRC) provides training manuals for greening congregations, seminaries and synods. We work to foster care for creation in colleges, outdoor ministry sites, and social ministry organizations. We provide practical approaches for conservation and cost savings from a Christian perspective. There are LRC training events and energy management programs for faith communities. There are advocacy strategies to address systematic issues and social concerns. And much more.
Through your gift today and through your ongoing commitment to this ministry, we are partners in sustaining and expanding a nationwide effort to care for creation and the environment. This is not a passing fad with a single issue focus; this is holistic, life-long work that reflects our role as stewards of God’s creation—a role that continues across generations and into the future.
